AusGuard is built and maintained by one independent developer in Australia.
Life in danger right now? Call 000. For floods and storms, watch and act on the
official warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology and your state emergency service. Do not wait on an app.
Report wrong or missing hazard data
This is the bug report I most want. AusGuard relays government and open-data feeds, so a missing warning is
usually an upstream feed problem rather than a decision to hide it. To let me tell the two apart, include:
The suburb or coordinates you were looking at, and the state.
Which screen: AusAlert, Today, Travel, or Tools.
What you expected versus what the app showed, with the time you saw it.
A link to the official source if it disagrees with the app.
Your app version, from Settings.
If a screen says data is unavailable, it means exactly that. The app does not fill gaps with guesses, so a
blank or a "not verified" line is a truthful answer, not a fabricated one.
Before you write in
Nothing loads. Check the app can reach ausalert.xyz on your network; some corporate and
school filters block it.
Location looks wrong. Re-check the suburb or city chosen in the app, then iOS Settings
> Privacy & Security > Location Services.
Alerts stopped. Re-enable notifications in the app and in iOS Settings. Turning alerts off deletes
the stored location for that device; switching them back on re-registers it.
Transit, cameras, or fuel look empty. Some of those feeds need a state agency key the app does not
have yet, so a region can be legitimately unsupported.
Subscription and refunds
Purchases go through Apple. For a refund or a billing dispute, use reportaproblem.apple.com or
Settings > your name > Subscriptions; that is the fastest route and the one Apple requires.
Delete your data
Use delete account in Settings if you signed in with Apple. Otherwise email from the device you use the app
on and I will remove the rows tied to that install.
